Wag N Wash interview questions

I was scheduled for a working interview where I groom a dog and my skills are evaluated. The entire interview was done in a cramped, busy, and messy area. There was barely any conversation or supervision as I groomed the dog, the woman interviewing me was so busy with her workload that I felt more like labor than a potential hire. I was put right next to the front door which had constant movement, distracting my dog and making my work harder as I had to avoid people + dogs. There was no space for my tools and the soap that they use is so diluted I felt there was no way to properly get my dog clean. The worst part is that they refused to pay me for the interview until I told them I’d report it to L&I since it’s illegal to have an unpaid working interview. They immediately changed their stance and sent me an email with a payroll sign up link, but the link is broken and they haven’t responded to me yet so I still have not been paid two weeks later. Overall the interview process was disorganized, unprofessional, and the red flag of them having no intention to pay me for my work speaks volumes.
