Assessment centre with various scenarios given and then short interview with manager afterwards. Having not worked in retail before I found the interview quite stressful). One hint would be to appear super confident even if youre quaking inside! One lady made a point of serving everyone with water and appeared very organised and took the initiative. I presume she got offered a job!

During assessment centre, given a list of various scenarios eg. three people ring in sick, missing child in reception, bakery delivery expected and need to attend to delivery and then given various people's profiles and needed to sort out different issues using profiles, deciding which ones are top priority.
