I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wallapop (Barcelona (Spain)) in May 2018.
Interview
Can't say much regarding the process as the first thing I was given is a home assignment and didn't get through that stage.
What I do like to say is that many of you probably know from experience that job searching process is turning to somewhat ridiculous and outrageous for IT people these days. In most other professions people don't get to do a bunch of test assignments and spend like a week on it, then a hundred of interviews, online tests etc. etc... on the other hand we - developers, do get this all the time nowadays.
My point is that even though we kind of don't have not much of a choice we all want to see at least some degree of appreciation and respect from employers side because we spent A LOT of time, energy and effort doing their tasks.
And that's not the case with Wallapop. I got a home assignment from their HR which was a one page PDF file with the instructions. The task itself was very brief and ambiguous. Then there was a list of things they're gonna look at to determine if they like it. So they spent just few minutes making this document. Basically just asked me to fetch a list of Marvel characters from Marvel's public API, implement a search through it and to show details of any character by clicking on it.
I spent a week working full time on that assignment (for free). I used some previous experience with similar tasks (that were accepted by the way) and made it even better, adding a lot of little big things and such.
And then I got a refusal from them saying that everything looks great but I didn't implement paging. It is a complex feature (if done right) which is definitely out of scope for this kind of assignments by default. And it was not said about it or mentioned anyhow in their PDF as well.
So they just spend few minutes composing a very brief task and then disregard all the important things that you've been working on the whole week and give you a refusal because of the paging. Which I could implement as well if they asked me to.
These guys absolutely don't care about your time and efforts. So think twice before spending it doing something for them, because next time you can get a refusal because you didn't implement twitter sharing.
I wish someday employers will start spending more time educating their stuff how to write tasks and be less arrogant before they spend other people's time and energy.

Interview
I had a telephone interview and a face to face interview. I never heard back from the company. There was no professional interview style and they just wanted to now if i would be happy to work on the late and night shifts , which i was a the time. Disappointed as the lady who interviewed me was lovely , but companies in spain dont bother to let candidates know the outcome.

I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at Wallapop (Barcelona (Spain)) in July 2018.
Interview
It has been the worst experience on an interview so far. It is the first time I have felt intimidated and wanted to get out quickly. When I told them I liked it because they cared about the users they interrupted and said NO and that the only focus was making money because they are losing money roght now. Also interviewer kept asking for 10 minutes about same question on how the columnar storage worked when I didnt know, repeating and repeating. I felt intimidated and I couldnt answer any question afterwards. I will warn everyone to stay away from this company or be forewarned before they go on an interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wallapop (Barcelona (Spain)) in October 2018.
Interview
I applied online, and got contacted by a recruiter. We had a 30minute interview where I talked about my experience and why I'm looking for a change, and they talked about the company and the projects going on. After that they sent me a home test which I had to complete over the weekend and took me about 10 hours. It took 2 weeks for them to review the code and come back to me informing I was not through. The feedback was mostly useful but I was surprised they complained about no integration tests, in simple API home assignment.
