Weather or Not interview questions

Four-hour timed meteorology knowledge and forecasting exam required, unpaid. It was a comprehensive exam which took the full allotted time. Asks you to analyze skew-t soundings, give a throuough synoptic/mesoscale discussion, and handwrite/scan a writing example in cursive. Did not receive any feedback on exam 10 days later, and was informed they were moving forward with other applicants. This job has been posted for the better part of a year, indicating a highly selective screening process, potentially high turnover or talent farming with no intent to hire. Advertised salary of $43,000/yr is not commensurate to educational qualifications or job responsibilities.
