The interview process was fairly easy and comfortable. I spoke with someone from my country so I felt like they were quite sincere but they did offered me a salary much lower than what I should have gotten. But I was new to China and didn’t know any better.

Quite easy. I was interviewed by a British guy. Then the manager who was chinese. Interview was fine with both people. What happens after that was a different story because of my terrible direct supervisor. But the 2 interviews were good.

A short correspondence on wechat and then a 30 minute over-the-phone interview. They had said that they would normally do a second interview over the phone and perhaps even a teaching demo but told me it wasn't necessary as they were satisfied with my original interview and experience.

Interview was brief with a focus on my experience and how I would handle certain situations in class such as shy students, or getting them to talk as this is a common problem among older students. Also on my experience and willingness in hosting events they arrange.
