Interview was fine, but the position was for a team lead, and interviewer's last question asked if I would consider a senior analyst (lower level) position instead. They mentioned having another internal candidate they were considering and might hire them for the team lead, at which point they'd look for a new analyst. I was not interested in the analyst position - a lateral move for me at best - and was very disappointed to hear that I was potentially not interviewing for the job I had applied for. Wellmark wanted to schedule the full interview with me, but I declined, not knowing what position I was truly interviewing for.
