He was looking for something more specific. I was not fresh with the C++ and it was a safety check on an unsigned int. I guess with embedded code they need to manage memory more carefully. I always programmed with doubles and never cared about overflow! The code was written with statements outside of brackets, variables defined in odd places, and no documentation at all of any code or variables.
