A recruiter reached out. It seemed like an interesting opportunity.
But lo and behold, after the hiring manager interview, they ghosted 👻 until I asked them about the status. It was appalling.
I didn't really need a job tbh as I have other sources of income that generate 3x the salary they offered, but I like their mission, it's a great purpose they are working for. My advice to you is to not waste the time of job seekers, and do your homework reviewing the right people. FFS, don't ghost anyone, it leaves a bad impression on the person who spent time sticking with you through the interview process.
I love Wikipedia, they are doing great ❤ but I hate you for ghosting. Please learn some ethics on the hiring end.
