Interview fairly basic. Invited to do trail shift, where no one proceeded to help me at all. Waitress 'looking after' me was not informed that she was doing so prior. Manager proceeded to blank me for the entire duration. Tried to do what I could (with no training), thought I was pretty proactive. Manager at the end told me he'd call me the next day. He did not. I eventually received a message on Indeed where he said after review we do not want you, and then when asked by me for feedback, did not reply at all. Awful process overall, it felt like I was used for free labour on a (very) busy evening.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Wildwood (Canterbury, England)
Interview
Firstly, I got an offer and was invented to interview at the restaurant. The manager just asked a few questions and then gave me a trail shift in the day of interview. Interview process was fast, it took around 5 minutes.
There was a noticeable absence of effective communication within the organization, which contributed to a frustrating environment. Additionally, I encountered instances of rude behavior from the management team, which further added to my dissatisfaction. Although I initially received a job offer, I ultimately made the difficult decision to decline it due to these issues. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me with no choice but to walk away from this opportunity.
