it is difficult to get small business owners to understand the need to create and monitor operational action plans. Most times it is not until their backs are against the wall and I cannot help them that they realize what they should have done and are willing to listen. I try hard to educate them that having a finance specialist in their management team is essential for stability, profitability and long term sustainability.
