My background: New grad from a very solid Canadian business school; Had two corporate internships (Strategy and marketing); Not every experienced in fashion and retail industry but want to explore the opportunities.
After dropping my application for allocation analyst through Linkedin, I originally did not have a high expectation of getting an interview, as I was quite inexperienced in this industry. However, a HR lady actually emailed me back and asked if I can provide supporting document such as transcript in addition to the resume and cover letter that I already submitted. Fast forward to couple days later, the HR lady invited me to hop on a "phone interview" with her. I hopped on the call and as I was making my self-introduction, she cut me off and said:"honestly I just took a look into your resume and you are not qualified for this position. Can you tell me what you exactly want to get out of from this call?".
I was speechless. She clearly did not read my resume before the call. I don't understand why she went through the process to ask me for supporting document, scheduling phone interview with me and then harassing me like that.
I am never going to apply for any position at TJX. This was by far the worst interview experience I had.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Winners
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. 5-6 hours total interviewing. 1st interview to last interview spanned nearly 2 months.
1st round was with a 3rd party company in the United States. One hour in length on phone. Mainly behavioral types of questions. 2nd round was with HR in person. Asked almost identical questions to the 1st round. 3rd round was with various colleagues in the company including current allocation analyst, buyer, and reporting managers; two separate sets of interview on same day.
I don't remember if it was at the 2nd or 3rd round, but there was also a Microsoft Excel test, a math test, and written case study.
