The interview process was thorough and multi-stage, spanning several weeks and including a total of six interviews. It began with an initial recruiter screen, followed by a series of in-depth interviews with team members across marketing, partnerships, and leadership. I was also asked to complete a final project that included a presentation to a panel of five team members.
While the process was well-structured and gave a good sense of the team culture and role expectations, communication after the final interview became less responsive. Despite positive feedback from the recruiter and a timeline for a decision, follow-up required prompting, and ultimately no feedback or closure was provided when I wasn't selected.
Overall, Wistia appears to be a mission-driven company with a collaborative team, but the interview experience could be improved by providing clearer and more timely communication during the final stages.
