I applied through college or university. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Works Applications (Hong Kong) in Oct 2016
Interview
I went to their recruitment talk at my university. 1. Take home assignment with two questions to be completed in 3 days.. C++ or Java. Some algorithm or recursion required for one of the questions. I submitted it in 2 days. I am notified the morning after the deadline to go to their second round: live coding. One question about your favourite project and then 50minutes of coding in front of the interviewer. I only completed one problem. After that, they tell you to pick a time for a five-day interview (which they call internship) in major cities in China. It was planned two weeks after the live coding, but I asked them to let me join the interview 5 months later at Shanghai. You build a prototype system in five days and give a presentation. They seem to focus more on your idea than your implementation.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Works Applications
Interview
Personality test followed by two interviews. Nothing to do with engineering, not even basic programming questions. The "engineers" in the first interview were clueless, and the second interview was just being talked at by one of the company's partners for an hour. They didn't even provide a proper interpreter. There is a reason this company is failing.

I interviewed at Works Applications (New Delhi)
Interview
The interview process was fairly easy. They gave about 2 questions which to students in our University we had to do a least 1. I did 2. Was called for an interview at New Delhi where I had one round and one aptitude test.
This was followed by a skype round centered around design and mainly software design. This was followed by an HR interview.
The interview was fairly okay but the post interview has been a complete horror. They took more than 5 months to come up with an offer letter and were vague about the location and the pay after promising the Singapore and the 6 Million Yen pay(anywhere).
Bad company. Really bad recruiters. Company isn't clear about anything. Half an year has passed since the job was offered but the location isn't known neither is the salary. They aren't even clear if they can fly us to the city where work starts.

I applied online. I interviewed at Works Applications (Dhaka) in May 2017
Interview
Firstly you have to apply online with your CV. They will give you 2-3 programming contest questions via your email address. You have to submit the solutions (code) within 4-7 days. If you are selected, they will ask you to participate in Live Coding Interview. If you are selected, they will take several Skype interviews. If you pass all of them, then they will hire you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interviewer will ask about your projects mentioned in your CV. He will also ask you other basic questions such about your programming skills. After then he will give you some programming questions one by one. You have to solve them one by one using computer. In Live Coding Interview, the questions are very easy. You don't have to be a code ninja to solve them! He will check your code manually (i.e not via online judge). He will ask about your code such as its complexity and ask you whether it is possible to improve its complexity. Interviewer will also evaluate your commination skill. So you have to be good at speaking in English or listening. Overall it is a very friendly interview, typically 1-1.5 hours long, and you will enjoy the interview time even if you are not selected for the next round!
