Wowcher Senior Java JEE Developer interview questions

First round interview was technical where asked mostly on spring, hibernate and core java. In 2nd round of interview there was first coding exercise given to write program for minesweeper where input was matrix with mines where read the input which is matrix of mines and output should to display count of mines in empty cells. After this asked lot of interview questions including current job project, spring, hibernate, design pattern, core java, oracle, performance tuning and many more. I cleared till this round and asked again on next day further f2f interview to write especially program to tic-tac-toe game. This time i did not wrote code but explained logic still not got selected. Lot of confusion on what actually they are looking for a candidate.
