      SEO Director Interview

      Jun 21, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Wpromote, LLC in Jun 2026

      Interview

Recruiter reached out on a Sunday night to schedule an interview. When I didn't reply by Monday mid-day, she emailed saying if I didn't get back to her soon, they'd move forward with other candidates. This was a huge red flag because 1, why are they working and expecting replies on a Sunday? Is this expected of employees. 2, Expecting a reply from a candidate that already has a full-time job in less than 24 hours is wild. Both suggest a poor work-life balance at the company. Only had an initial phone screen, which was more technical than most others I've had. Recruiter immediately started asking about SEO processes, rather than the typical eligibility questions.
