Kind of a pain doing everything via online and feels like you do one step wait a week and then another step. Other then that it’s pretty straight forward just a few tests.

Calls for a 3 part interview. Three times you have to go there. They wont call you if you dont get a job offer, just email after three wasted trips. The want to pay expieranced people the same as new hires. Lack of integrity. Lack of professionalism.

Applied online and received an initial invite to interview with HR manager. Invited back to meet with management team and discuss job qualifications.
- Why do you want this job?

Anonymous Employee in Austell, GA
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Yancey Bros. (Austell, GA) in Jun 2012
This was a panel interview. I was interviewed by the controller, tax manager and assistant controller. They gave me a written math and accounting test before I met with the panel. The panel had access to my test results and my interview experience was directly related to how well I did on those tests. One test was basic addition. the other test was a test of accounting knowledge. So many candidates bombed on this test, that when they got to me they were so impressed my my ability to pass that stupid test that they gave me a shot.
- Tell me about yourself. Do you view accounting from the micro or macro perspective. What is a Schedule C used for on a tax return. and a few more stupid questions unrelated to the actual job. I nailed it though!
