Zom interview questions

The interviewers seemed genuine. I was told about the company by the controller, which is nice but they just went on about it, which felt like a lifetime and then I was (finally) able to discuss my background. When I offered how I could make impactful contributions in the role based on my experiences, the same manager took who went on and on about the company and perks, they then talked excessively and openly negative about the person I was interviewing to replace. It was very unprofessional. What if I personally knew the person? The other guy in the room with me didn’t really add much to the conversation or interview. He had a resting grumpy face so it was hard to get a read on him. For two hours of my time and two weeks of no updates (yet they said they were gonna let me know in 2-3 days, lol), I finally found out they passed on my candidacy after 2+ weeks with no feedback, classic. But something I realized is if they can talk negatively to a stranger (me) about another colleague, it made me think they could do that to anyone. Major red flag of their culture being potentially toxic in my opinion.
