I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at iProspect (Montreal, QC) in Mar 2014
Interview
The process is fairly simple. Met with the head of the department & one of the director. Simple & straightforward questions. Good introduction of the company, although not much on its vision or values.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at iProspect in Jul 2021
Interview
They invited me to an interview, the interview process was like a chat. They mostly only asked about past experiences, and briefly touched upon SEO skills. They also switched to English to test my oral speaking skills. Everything went well and we were having a good chat, until at the end they asked for salary expectations and then got quiet, and then never gave me a response, even after follow up. Quite a bad experience.

Question 1
What SEO experience do you have in your previous jobs?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at iProspect (New York, NY) in Jul 2014
Interview
An old coworker referred me for the position. I was emailed by the recruiter and a phone interview was set up. The phone interview was very typical and after about 20 mins I was offered an in-person interview.
I interviewed with 4 people separately and while some of the questions were repetitive, it also seemed each person had a different angle they covered with their questions. One person asked very SEO related questions and scenarios, another more managerial, another more personal questions and the other (account director) even more general questions.
Overall, it was a good interview experience. I wasn't offered the job -- I was told I would be a good fit for the SEO Coordinator position (one position lower), which I can understand.
