First-round was an Initial talk with the HR to know you as a person and whether you are fit for the job. Step 2 - You take an SQL test on the TestDome platform Step 3 - Once you pass the test there will be 2 more followup telephone rounds with the manager and an engineer Step 4 - Take one more test with Python+SQL on TestDome platform Step 5 - On-Site Interview with 6-7 different people ranging from DE's, QA Engineers, VP's and Managers. Pros: 1) I really loved their product and was genuinely passionate to work for them 2) Communication was mostly great except for the salary negotiation part 3) People were really good to talk and established a calm and friendly interview environment Cons: 1) I scored 86% and 95% in 2 online tech tests they gave me which resonates with my Technical Experience. They have never tested me on Quality Assurance problems technically. Somehow they determined that I don't have enough QA experience. If that is the case why do you want to waste 10hours of interviewing time for the candidate? You could have put an early QA test and vetted out to someone you need 2. Ultimately they told everyone who talked with me loved my candidacy, except for QA experience hence they offered a role with compensation which was less than 11% of what I am getting already. This is unreasonable according to me. I am truly disappointed. I have tried with HR to make things work until the final belt but management thought that they would not go beyond that compensation. 3. Lot of back and forth and reschedules. They ask you to give your availability but turn around and say we are available only during the next 6 days where your availability is not a matter and you start to feel the pressure of losing opportunity. 4. An interviewer missed the onsite interview and they said that he is going to speak with you tomorrow with the zoom call information. I got ready and plugged into a Zoom call, no one showed up. Only after emailing in the middle of the interview slot that I had known that the interview was cancelled. Again water of my precious 1 hour.
