I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at redBus India (Bengaluru) in Feb 2025
Interview
1. Technical Round with Team Lead:
2. Managerial Round
3. Final Round with QA Practice Head
Basic programming ,data structures, all the rounds were like technical. They expected a working code which has had written. 2nd round I was asked to optimise the code written and do test th program.basic questions asked on Testing methodology, which was mere a formality I believe.
1. Technical Round with Team Lead:
The first round involved writing a working solution to reverse (swipe) a string. I was also asked some basic questions on data structures, along with a logical puzzle. The round was straightforward and focused primarily on coding ability and problem-solving skills.
2. Managerial Round:
This round included a programming task related to identifying and handling duplicates in a string, with an emphasis on optimizing the solution. It also included some follow-up questions on design approach and optimization techniques.
3. Final Round with QA Practice Head:
Unfortunately, this round did not leave a good impression. It began abruptly with technical questions, without any greetings. The interviewer eager to counter question jump without fully understanding my responses, and the conversation felt disorganized. What I found particularly inappropriate was the line of questioning around my personal background , castism and family’s financial situation, which I felt was unprofessional and irrelevant to the job role
