The interview process was simple and straightforward but very long.
The steps were the following:
1. I recieved a case study that I had to submit within the next 7 days.
2. The same day I submited the case study I received an invitation for my first interview via Skype with a Team Lead scheduled a week later.
3. Three days after the first interview I received another invitation for my second Skype interview with HR and a team leader.
4. Another 3 days I received one more invitation for a Skype interview with the leader of another department and another trivago employee.
5. Three weeks later I received one more invitation for a Skype interview.
6. A week later I received the offer of contract.
Although it was a long process that took almost 3 months, the interviews were really interesting and the people make you feel confortable and motivate you to speak and show you qualifications.
