Thomvest is a venture capital fund based in Silicon Valley. We invest in companies that range from early stage companies to those seeking growth equity rounds of financing. Over the years we've found that it helps to be highly focused on the areas that we think hold the most promise for future growth, and so we have specialized in investing in certain industries. These days we are heavily focused on three particular areas: advertising technology, financial technology, and software-as-a-service (SaaS), though we also spend time each year considering the next areas for growth. Our vertical market focus is also backed by the research we do in each of these areas, some of which you can see on our blog (www.blog.thomvest.com). We have offices in Redwood Shores, California as well as in Toronto, Canada, and are currently recruiting for our Redwood Shores office.
