Description The good folks at ARUP Laboratories, (formerly known as Associated Regional and University Pathologists), don't grow pale at the sight of blood. The clinical reference lab performs tens of thousands of tests daily on blood, body fluids, and tissue for clients that include teaching hospitals, hospital groups, clinics, government entities, and other labs across the US. Its test menu includes thousands of assays, ranging from routine screenings (such as allergy and infectious diseases tests) to highly complex genetic and molecular tests. The organization also offers consulting and information services, including online access to test results. Founded in 1984, ARUP Laboratories is a nonprofit enterprise of the University of Utah and its Department of Pathology. .
