Description One of the top historically black colleges and universities in the US, Delaware State University (DSU) offers about 65 bachelor's degree programs, more than 20 graduate degree programs, and five doctoral degree programs through six colleges that entail 20 academic departments. In addition to its main Dover campus, the university has satellite locations in Wilmington and Georgetown, Delaware. DSU began in 1891 as the State College for Colored Students; it became known as Delaware State College in 1947 and gained university status in 1993. It has an enrollment of more than 3,700 students.
