Traveling waters beneath all constellations, Scorpio Tankers provides seaborne transportation services for crude oil and other petroleum products throughout the world. The company owns a fleet of three Panamax tankers -- one operating on the spot market (voyage by voyage) for such companies as Marathon Oil, while the other two are under long-term fixed-rate charter contracts. Its fleet, with a total capacity of 226,500 dwt (deadweight tons), is managed by affiliates Scorpio Ship Management (SSM) and Scorpio Commercial Management (SCM), both based in Monaco. Founded in 2007 and formerly owned by Scorpio Group, Scorpio Tankers went public in 2010.
