Since beginning our company, we’ve often gotten the question, “Why did you start Fringe?”
The short answer?
We built Fringe because somebody had to.
No two people have the same definition of ‘wellness.’ Which means, there's no easy one-size-fits-all solution. Until now.
Today's employees want benefits that can keep up, meeting their unique needs now while also being able to change as life changes -- rapidly. They want benefits that embrace personalization and celebrate individualism.

At Fringe, we believe that YOUR experience as an employee is every bit as important as the experience of our users. Everyone working here is valuable and will be treated with dignity and respect. We care about one another. We hold no grudges. We overlook the small stuff, and keep the main thing the main thing. We value character over skill. We value grit over resumés. We value people over tasks, even when that slows us down a bit. We work really hard, but never to the detriment of ourselves or the people we care about.
We do not believe in the "work/life balance". Human beings will always bring their lives and loves ones to work with them (mentally, emotionally, or even physically) - and we will inevitably bring thoughts of work and projects we are working on home. We think that's ok, when our priorities are straight. We are seeking a work/life blend and integration that leads to healthy Fringers (that's us), healthy families, and healthy relationships all around.
If we do this well, we don't even need to worry about a healthy bottom line. It'll take care of itself.
