    Pros

    - Nice office near train stations and supermarkets
    - Pet-friendly
    - Good job to kickstart a career in sales
    - Very good at employer branding

    Cons

    - It loss its startup vibe, becoming more corporate. Unwillingness to listen to their employee's suggestions
    - Low impact, there is a disconnect between the energy and effort put into job activities and the outcome. It becomes tedious and repetitive rather quickly.

    Social Media/Event Coordinator Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at COMATCH (New York, NY) in January 2020.

    Interview

The initial interview was with two senior employees which was great, I was even encouraged to apply for something of more responsibility and was later called in for a second interview to do so. The second interview was presumably going well and I was asked by a senior employee to stick around to finally meet the event coordinator that I would be replacing, she was not a senior emp. but a younger rep. This interview was done by someone who wanted to pull apart my wardrobe and capabilities that had nothing to do with my resume or many years over her in event planning in New York City, which would have given me more than enough exp. to juggle the small Berlin office. Nevertheless, I remained respectful but utterly offended, ultimately did not get the position. I liked the upper management and the overall company vibe but would recommend that they make the final hiring decision because it seemed as though she disliked me based on appearance. Top Management was positive and would have loved to work for the company.
