Last night we celebrated the holiday season in style! We're feeling thankful for our bigger office space and for the many new faces who joined the Criteria family this year. #happyholidays
Criteria is a leading provider of online pre-employment testing services. Our mission is to make high-quality pre-employment testing solutions accessible to companies of all sizes. Founded in 2006, we quickly developed into one of the fastest growing companies in the talent management sector, earning a spot on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest growing companies in both 2015 and 2016.
Our office is located in the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, where we are treated to a panoramic view of Downtown Los Angeles, Culver City, and the Hollywood Hills. We pride ourselves on cultivating a relaxed atmosphere: we dress casually, bring our dogs to work, and eat a catered lunch together at least twice a week.
We also know that company culture is more than puppies and free food. We believe our biggest strength is our people and we deeply value their input. We hold monthly all staff meetings to address any exciting updates, new ideas, or product suggestions from anyone and everyone. Our work culture is built on trust, respect, and clear communication. We trust everyone to get their work done without micromanagement, and we encourage honest, respectful feedback at every level. Check out some of our reviews to see what our current employees have to say.
Every job has its perks and working for Criteria is no exception. Our competitive benefits are in place to keep our employees happy, healthy, and secure. Some of our key perks and benefits include:
We also offer some perks just to make our staff’s life that much easier (and more fun), including:
Some of our favorite things about working here don’t technically fall under the umbrella of traditional “perks”. But when asked, our employees often say some of their favorite things about working for Criteria is our charity involvement, our company events and parties, our location in the heart of West Hollywood, or our incredible view!
Criteria Corp encourages employees to give back and to get involved with our community — locally, nationally, and globally.
We support fundraising efforts as a company and also provide each employee with their own charitable fund to allow them to select and donate to charities of their individual choice.
Criteria also boasts a volunteer committee who plans and executes company-wide volunteer events, including:
We're proud of our company culture, and our employees agree! Employee feedback helped to earn us a spot on two lists for best workplaces in 2017. We were featured in:
We also made it onto Inc. 5000’s List of Fastest Growing Companies in 2015 and 2016.
I have been working at Criteria full-time (Less than a year)
I have been working at Criteria for less than a year. Criteria invests in its employees and makes every individual feel like they are a valued asset to the organization. The benefits are amazing and the office is dog friendly!! Besides the benefits, I believe in Criteria’s mission and my coworkers are genuine, all around cool people. In addition, the workplace environment is transparent and welcoming. Extremely happy to be working here and hopefully for many more years to come!
Just like any company with rapid growth, change is imminent. Changes to daily processes can get complicated at times, so you have to be willing to adjust.
Advice to Management
Doing a great job. Keep it up!
The process took a week. I interviewed at Criteria (Los Angeles, CA).
Applied online, took one of the assessments they promote, and was contacted for a phone interview. 1st interview which went well. I was very comfortable, the questions were appropriate and despite no background in software sales, it was my sales skill that led to the call and ultimately an in person interview.
2nd interview was with the first contact and another high ranking member of the company. Again, a relaxed and positive experience.
Two days later I received the call that I did not get the job, however the fact that it was a call and I was given the reason why (another candidate had active software sales experience) made the negative outcome easier to deal with. With that, thanks for the opportunity and I envision lots of growth for them if they continue to function with professionalism and integrity.
