From our beginnings as a single assisted living community in 1986 to our current 26 programs around southern, central, and coastal Maine, New Communities has grown in depth and breadth of services for seniors, people with mental health challenges, and individuals with intellectual disabilities who need support in daily living and want to participate as fully as possible in every facet of their lives. New Communities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing exceptional care at our assisted living facilities and group homes. Named one of the 2024 Best Places to Work in Maine, we take pride in supporting our employees just as much as we support our residents.
