I worked at Environmental Protection Agency full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good, dedicated people and an honorable mission (to protect human health and the environment). Good work/life balance, great benefits.

    Cons

Some of the agency's work can be very political at times, and you have to deal with bureaucracy. Also, with the change in Administration, things are likely different now than from when I worked there.

    Application

    Interview

Supposed to do face-to-face interview, so I went to the Interview location, but phone interview was done instead at last minute, which was unexpected. It was kinda hard to find the interview location in DC. So, it would be wise to go early and prepare for the expected.....
