Mission At MIRA Safety, our mission is clear and unwavering:

To protect people from the worst threats imaginable by providing access to professional-grade safety equipment—without compromise, without gatekeeping, and without delay.

We believe that preparedness is a right, not a privilege.

For decades, high-quality protective gear was reserved for governments, militaries, and elite agencies. We’ve changed that. From gas masks and filters to full-body suits and children’s CBRN equipment, we bring world-class protection to the people who need it most: everyday families, first responders, educators, professionals, and parents who refuse to leave their safety to chance.

What Drives Us:
We were founded with a single, powerful belief: that in times of crisis, no one should be left unprotected simply because they don’t wear a uniform. We’ve seen what happens when systems fail—during pandemics, natural disasters, chemical spills, acts of terrorism, or nuclear accidents. Too often, civilians are the last to get help.

We exist to change that narrative.

Our work is grounded in faith, built on personal experience, and powered by a team that takes our mission seriously. Every product we develop, every order we ship, every conversation with a customer—it all comes back to one thing: helping people survive and thrive in uncertain times.

Not Just Gear—A Culture of Readiness:
Our mission extends beyond the products we sell. We’re building a culture—one that normalizes preparedness, encourages self-reliance, and educates people on how to protect what matters most. We’ve built one of the only civilian-focused CBRN product lines in the world, including gear specifically made for children. When we say "family preparedness," we mean every member of the family.

Our Commitment to Quality:
We don't chase trends or cut corners. Our products are used by military units, federal agencies, and civilians alike. Many of our offerings are manufactured in Europe by longstanding defense contractors with decades of expertise. But we go further—collaborating directly with engineers to improve usability, durability, and real-world effectiveness.

And as we grow, we’re investing in bringing more of that production to the United States, ensuring greater control, faster response, and deeper resilience in a world where supply chains are increasingly fragile.

A Mission-Focused Workplace:
Internally, our mission fuels everything we do—from product development and customer service to marketing and operations. We’ve built a team that lives and breathes preparedness. And we’ve built a workplace that reflects those values: modern, practical, wellness-oriented, and optimized for high performance and collaboration.

If you're looking for a job where you punch the clock and zone out, this isn’t the place. But if you want to wake up knowing that your work could genuinely help save lives—that your contribution matters on a global scale—then welcome to the mission.
Description MIRA Safety exists to protect people from the worst threats imaginable—and to do it with uncompromising integrity. But our story isn’t one of corporate playbooks or venture capital. It’s the unlikely journey of a refugee, a mission rooted in faith, and a team driven by purpose.

Our founder immigrated to the U.S. from Moscow in the early ’90s, raised on stories of rationing, geopolitical instability, and the haunting memory of Chernobyl. He witnessed the 9/11 attacks firsthand and saw how many illnesses might’ve been prevented with something as simple as a respirator. That realization became the seed of what would eventually grow into MIRA Safety.

After years of working as a waiter, surviving a failed first business, and learning hard lessons in resilience, MIRA Safety officially launched with one goal: make professional-grade protective gear accessible to civilians.

We started small—fulfilling orders from a spare bedroom. But when the pandemic hit in 2020, everything changed. Demand skyrocketed. Our team rapidly scaled operations from living room packing stations to a 26,000 sq. ft. HQ in Cedar Park, Texas.

Today, our products are used by families, first responders, military units, and film productions (yes, that was our gear in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet). We serve everyone from everyday parents to preparedness professionals—with equal urgency and respect.

But MIRA isn’t just about gas masks and gear. We’re about values:

Adaptability: The world moves fast. So do we.
Accountability: We own our wins—and our mistakes.
Teamwork: No egos. Just mission-first collaboration.
Tenacity: When it gets hard, we get resourceful.

We’ve made mistakes. We’ve learned. And we’re proud to be one of the only companies in the world offering civilian-grade CBRN gear for children—because no parent should face a crisis unprepared.

Our workplace reflects the same mindset we bring to preparedness: resilient, practical, and optimized. Inside our HQ, you’ll find a full gym, red light therapy, cold plunges, showers, a stocked break room, a chicken coop (yes, really), and a team that truly believes in what we’re doing.

We’re not chasing trends—we’re building something that lasts. If you want a job, there are plenty of places for that. But if you want to be part of a mission—protecting people when it matters most—we’d love to meet you.
