Description Maxcom could be called Mexcom. The company provides voice and data services to almost 350,000 residential and small to midsized businesses in Mexico City, Puebla, Querétaro, and San Luis Potosi. Its services -- sold individually and in bundles -- include local and long-distance voice and data; high speed, dedicated, and dial-up Internet access; and voice-over-Internet protocol (VoIP). Maxcom also offers cable television through partnerships with other providers and mobile phone service through Telefónica's network. The company built and operates its own telecommunications network and support infrastructure. Bank of America owns 40% of Maxcom.
