Founded in 2008, OSV started out as a disruptive and innovative force in the HR outsourcing market offering a cloud-based alternative to traditional business process outsourcing. Built on the Workday application, OSV creates solutions that empower customers to become strategic HR organizations and then scales with them as they grow. To date, OneSource Virtual offers HR outsourcing, IT outsourcing, Finance and Accounting outsourcing and consulting solutions and services to more than 370 customers that represent approximately 35% of Workday’s customer base.

OSV Cares is a coalition of our employees, which is driven by one of our core values:  “Seek the best for others”.    OneSource Virtual employees are ambassadors of the company and dedicated to giving back to their local communities.    

Our mission and vision is to cultivate and nurture our employees, to be a bridge in our communities, and act as a beacon of service; to drive a philanthropic culture through servant leadership that empowers giving. 

 

Highlights from 2016 include:

  • Successful fundraising to support Junior Achievement – allowing OSV to provide assistance to over 300 hundred local school children.
  • Partnering with Meals on Wheels, regularly delivering hot meals to senior citizens near our home office.
  • A bottled water drive in our Mesa, AZ office, assisting the homeless during summer
  • Food and clothing drives throughout the year for various non-profit organizations.
  • Sponsoring a Field Day for foster children in a group home.
  • A team of employees participating in a 22kilometer walk benefitting veteran services.
  • Hosting bake sales to benefit cancer support groups.
  • Adopting families in need during the holidays to supply with meals and gifts.

 

Individually, several OSV team members rode 280 miles and raised $14,608 completing a 4-day charity bike ride from London to Paris to raise money for the Invictus Foundation.   In addition, OSV is supporting the first of a series of humanitarian teams going to Uganda to participate in various activities supporting a local community in Africa.

In addition, each new employee goes through an on-boarding process that includes participation in a team volunteer event at a local food bank in the community.   It is a way to embody our spirit of giving back, and creates a foundation for our value: We are a team!  

OSV continuously searches for new opportunities to benefit communities local to our three offices in Dallas,Texas; Mesa, Arizona, and Derry, Northern Ireland.


At OneSource Virtual, all of our employees are very different but the one common bond we all share is the core set of ten values.

    Pros

    Great product, great team of peers to work with and learn from! Our sales management team - all the way up to the CEO are wonderful, so wise - they know what's important - we all live the OSV values and win by helping our customers and Workday peers by bringing value to every interaction and transaction. Management is super supportive and team oriented, hard-working strategists but we also have a lot of fun when we're all together. Company respects the employees, acknowledges our hard work, honors work-life balance and also does everything they can do to ensure our success. I love working at OSV.

    Cons

    Benefits could be a little more competitive - and would love for them to do more to provide for home-based employees with better contribution to our home office costs.

    I applied online. I interviewed at OneSource Virtual.

    Interview

    Applied online and got an email from a recruiter to schedule a phone screen. Recruiter asks you general questions about your experience. After reviewing my own qualifications and the job description, I realized I may not be qualified for the job and the recruiter must have realized that too after the very first question of "tell me about your experience". However she still went through her standard, very structured list of questions. I would've appreciate if she cut my interview the moment we both realized I'm not fit for the job. At the end of her questionnaire, I asked if I meet the qualifications for the role (expecting honesty and complete transparency) she said she just take and pass on notes to the hiring manager and they make the decision....
