    Employer 401k Contributions

I wish they had a "work from home" program in place.
I wish they would promote more from within along with hiring outside the company.

    Pros

I like working here. I like working from home, I like the work/life balance, I like the values, I like the people. I think that management works hard to make BOTH the employees and the customers happy, and thats quite a juggling act. Sometimes corrections are needed, but management is pretty quick to identify where and act on it.

    Cons

The benefits are pretty good... domestic partner insurance, good PTO plan. The 401k Match however is a huge JOKE!! They could certainly improve on that. Also, the pay is below market average. Alot of our quality Employees get lured away by the competition. We have had high turnover recently and that creates heavy work load for the rest of us, which causes burn out, which causes EE's to look for other opportunities. This cycle needs to be broken FAST.

    Advice to Management

Address the ridiculous 401K match and outrageous EE turnover.

    Pros

I love that this company treats you like an adult. They realize you have a life outside of work, as well. The pay is good, the benefits are fine, no time off limits (within reason), many of the employees are high quality! There is a ton of room for career improvement and upward mobility, if you work hard and learn quickly. This company spends a lot of time recognizing its employees for hard work, innovation, & initiative. I love the 10 values and I believe they try to stick to them. I hope to get to work here for a very long time.

    Cons

There used to be a lot of employees and managers who only got the job because they knew someone, not because they were qualified - but I can see that the new C suite and management are trying to correct that.

    Advice to Management

The new open office environment makes it difficult to get work done, if you need a certain amount of focus. It would be nice to have more work from home days, just to be able to buckle down & get your tasks done during the non-meeting times.

    Pros

Hard work really pays off. You have to be willing to take on tasks and jobs you may have never done before and figure out how to get it done. But if you get a reputation as being dependable and hardworking you will have door and opportunities open to you that you might not have ever considered.

You can reinvent yourself with OSV. I have work in multiple departments and have had many different job titles. I got to experience the benefits you normally get when moving to a new job and a new company (increased money and skill sets) but stayed with OSV.

    Cons

OSV is a fast paced, fast growing company, so if you do not like change OSV is not for you.

I have experienced my share of long days and working weekends, but I also have flexibility to WFH (some departments) when I need to and can take time for appointments.

    Advice to Management

More effort should be put into identifying and doing what it takes to keep good talent. It is hard to compete with the IBM's and Deloitte's in some areas, but from knowing people personally who have left the grass is not always greener. OSV has a lot to offer and we need to be better at proving that.

I have been working at OneSource Virtual full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great environment. I work with some terrific people who know how to work hard in concert with having fun. The leadership has been extremely accessible to me when I need them. Work/life balance has been prioritized company-wide and improved measurably. Popcorn Wednesdays, department competitions, and seasonal company parties make it feel like a family away from home.

    Cons

The commute. I wish one of us would move closer.

    Advice to Management

Keep steering us in the right direction.
