Mission To provide Engineering and Manufacturing products and services that excel in quality, reliability, timeliness, and value to RWC’s customers, and personal growth for its employees.
Description RWC was founded in February 1945 in Bay City, Michigan and incorporated under the name Resistance Welder Corporation in October of that year. In April 1979, the firm name was changed to RWC, Inc. In the early 1950s, RWC began designing multiple-station welding machines with mechanical parts handling between stations and subsequently moved into the field of metal forming (i.e., bending and shaping).

Today, RWC occupies a 123,330 square-foot manufacturing facility on a 13-acre site adjacent to I-75 freeway, with easy access to MBS International Airport.

RWC is known throughout the industry for engineering and building robust equipment that runs for years. Our equipment is designed for ruggedness, easy maintenance, accessibility, long life, operator safety, and quick or in cycle changeover for different models.

RWC’s full-service Engineering Department incorporates both mechanical and controls engineering to design a truly cost-effective product.

Our Manufacturing Department’s service technicians and skilled tradesmen develop, build, and test the systems we produce at RWC, and then startup and debug those systems at the customer’s plant. The Manufacturing Department works hand-in-hand with our mechanical and controls engineers during the development and debug time. Our engineers and technicians are fully trained on the very latest controls technology.
