I have been working at StudyPoint part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The hours are truly whatever you want them to be. My manager has been fantastic from the time I joined the company to now.

    Cons

Getting to students' houses can be a huge time suck, but that's the nature of the job. Some of the materials have minor errors, which can be difficult to navigate if you're a new tutor or someone unfamiliar with the skills required for the question.

    Advice to Management

Continue recruiting dynamic, compassionate managers; they make StudyPoint fantastic! Please proof the manuals more thoroughly.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at StudyPoint (Philadelphia, PA) in June 2014.

    Interview

I had an initial interview over the telephone and a second live interview one-on-one with a current Instructor. During the interview, I was asked to perform a role-playing exercise and teach several SAT problems to the interviewer.

    Interview Questions

    • The heart of the interview involves a role-playing exercise in which you are asked to teach several SAT problems to the interviewer as if you were the instructor and they were the student.   Answer Question
