Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. I applied through an employee referral The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TextExpander (Boise, ID) in Sep 2022
InterviewThe interview process was multiple interviews, and they were laid out very clearly, so I knew what to expect at each. They consisted of your standard interview with the recruiter and team, along with interviewing with team leaders as well. There was also a reverse interview which was a great opportunity to ask deeper questions and make sure TextExpander was right for me. Lastly, there was a project verifying that I knew the basic knowledge for the position I hoped to be hired for. There were no "gotcha" moments and I was able to complete this project in a timely matter. Overall the team was very understanding and flexible during the entire interview process.Interview
