    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tree Top (Selah, WA)

I applied online and the day after was contacted by the corporate recruiter for Tree Top the following day. I was impressed with the quick response. We set up a time for an onsite interview after completing a phone screen with two managers.

I arrived in Selah in the afternoon the day prior to my onsite interview and checked into my hotel. With some time to kill, I shopped at a Walmart close by and purchased a bottle of Tree Top Honeycrisp juice. After the first sip, I knew this company was where I wanted to work. Pure ecstasy overcame me the moment I drank the juice. It is an excellent product. I even mixed a few shots of alcohol with the juice and was pleasantly surprised.

The following day I arrived at the plant for my interview a few minutes late. Not bad for being a little hungover I thought. I had a panel interview with James, Jodee, Andy, and Bryan. I was nervous because I just wanted to tour the plant and drink more juice, but I had to answer their questions first. After our meeting I toured the plant and discovered that it was seasonal downtime and their was no production happening. No juice in sight. Before I left I saw a biologist conducting tests on some hold product and was able to score some drank.

I ended up joining the company and was in pure bliss everyday, often consuming a gallon of juice per shift.

Why do you want to work in the food and beverage industry?
