Wheelhouse Credit Union has been around much longer than most. Decades before the Coronado Bridge became a landmark, we were already part of the San Diego scene. We were here, too, back when some of Balboa Park’s towering eucalyptus trees were little more than seedlings. We were founded in 1934 by a group of City of San Diego employees looking for financial relief in the throes of an economic depression. Since then, we have grown to become a strong and well-respected financial institution. In 2018 we re-branded to Wheelhouse Credit Union.
