Description Focus Group founded in 2004 by Ralph Gilbert and Chris Goodman is an evolving telecommunications company which has over 400 employees across multiple sites in the UK.
We offer a range of products to all types of organisations, whether they are fully established or just starting out. Our products include Telecommunications, Energy, Mobile, Security, IT and Data.
Our people are the foundation of Focus Group who have contributed to make it what it is today. If you ask our employees what the best thing about working for Focus Group is, they will say the people! We have created a culture which focuses on developing great relationships between our employees. We really are one big family.
We currently have offices in Basingstoke, Bristol, East Kilbride, Kings Hill, and our newly built Head Quarters office in Shoreham-By-Sea.
Focus Group are dedicated to supporting our Community by establishing various committees within our organisation these include Environmental and Charity Committees. Our previous projects have included beach cleans, collecting food and clothes items for homeless shelters, creating Focus branded water bottles to help reduce plastic waste and hosting charity poker nights. We also hold the annual Focus 10K which is a fundraiser run for our chosen charity of the year. To increase our charity work we have created a volunteering policy which allows all our employees to take a paid volunteering day each year.
As well as looking after our community, we have a Wellbeing Committee which focuses on our employees physical and mental wellbeing. Our devoted ‘Wellbeing Champions’ have undertaken Mental Health First Aid training to allow them to help their colleagues facing issues in and out of the workplace.
Our employees work hard and contribute to the success of Focus Group, so we want to reward them and give something back. We recently launched our ‘Focus Xchange’ portal for employee discounts, cash back schemes, wellbeing material and useful resources. As a Focus Group employee, you can participate in our ‘Focus Leagues’, competing against fellow employees in table tennis or pool at our HQ. We hold Focus Awards annually to recognise departments, teams and individuals for their amazing efforts, whilst enjoying entertainment, drinks and a three-course meal, giving away a variety of prizes including tickets to Race Day at Goodwood and Junk Yard Golf in London. Other benefits include discounted gym membership, cycle to work scheme, birthday leave, refer a friend bonus scheme and free financial advice.
