Since its foundation in 2007, Secusmart GmbH has developed into the global expert in secure communications it is today. The team, led by founders Dr Hans-Christoph Quelle and Dr Christoph Erdmann, won its first German government tender in 2009, and German government agencies, ministries and other official bodies have been using Secusmart’s anti-eavesdropping solutions ever since. Today, many governments worldwide also make telephone calls using Secusmart’s solutions. It was therefore a logical step for Secusmart to be acquired by BlackBerry Ltd. in 2014, giving the Düsseldorf-based company even greater access to the global market for secure mobile communications.
Secusmart’s most successful product is its SecuSUITE for BlackBerry 10 high-security solution. Thanks to the system’s user-friendliness and high-quality technology, government ministries and agencies have long been placing their trust in the company, which is headquartered in Düsseldorf and is a subsidiary of BlackBerry®.
