Our story began many years ago when my Father was faced with the difficult task of caring for our Grandmother. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and care options were limited to skilled nursing homes or small personal care homes. My Father dreamed of building a community where people could live with dignity and respect. He immigrated from Cuba after the revolution and worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He wore many hats during his early years in the U.S., but ultimately found his niche in construction and development. Because of this, he knew that he could make his dream a reality, and in 1998 we opened our first community in Woodstock, Georgia.
