Description Its name may sound like baby talk, but that's just so the little ones can ask for Smoby Toys's (formerly named SMOBY) innovative toys by name. The company's toy subsidiaries manufacture creative playthings for children ages 0-12, including play strollers (Picó) and other role-playing and creativity toys (Smoby), stacking and building toys (Écoiffier), balloons and balls (Unice), and football tables (Monneret). Another unit makes plastic packaging products, bottles, flasks, and containers for industrial customers. Sales outside France account for more than half of the total. Germany-based toy rival Simba Dickie acquired the company in 2008 and made Smoby Toys a subsidiary.
