Mission Our purpose is to help save lives. With a mission to innovate the equipment and education that keep people safe in high-risk environments, we build the tools and develop the training to help our customers perform their jobs with greater safety and efficiency.
Description CMC is an employee-owned company that is focused on the needs of rescue and work-at-height professionals and committed to life safety. Founded in 1978 by veteran climber and search and rescue team member Jim Frank, CMC understands that the business of saving lives while risking one’s own life requires a substantial amount of trust in one’s own abilities, team, training, and equipment.

Today, CMC is a global leader in rescue and work-at-height product engineering, product manufacturing, training, and education. Our product lines include industry-leading hardware solutions as well as harnesses, rope and web, bags and packs and anchor devices.

The CMC promise of uncompromised safety and guaranteed performance is delivered through a commitment to American manufacturing and a rigorous testing program.

For over 30 years, the CMC School has provided rescue and other work-at-height professionals with the knowledge and training to do their jobs safely, effectively, and confidently.
