Wagner Roofing Company has been trusted with preserving and protecting the Washington, DC area’s most beloved buildings since 1914. The 103-year old roofing and sheet metal specialty trade company is headquartered in Hyattsville, Maryland and is a registered DC Corporation. Wagner consists of upwards of 50 full time staff split between specialty trade, field and administrative personnel.
Specializing in historic restoration and preservation projects, Wagner Roofing Company operates throughout the Mid-Atlantic region on projects that range from small, specialty residential work to larger, more complex governmental and institutional projects with budgets upwards of five million dollars. Wagner has experience working directly with building owners as well as in partnership with general contractors. With a unique focus on historic preservation and restoration Wagner provides extensive experience working with local and city historic boards, state historic offices of preservation as well as numerous other preservation-based organizations. To accommodate the intricate craftsmanship required of many of these jobs, Wagner’s Hyattsville headquarters houses a large state-of-the-art sheet metal shop and warehouse for the custom fabrication of metal roofing, cornice work and accessories. Wagner also conducts regular trainings in the workshop to keep our skilled artisans at the top of our trade.
In addition to historic preservation and restoration work, Wagner also provides high quality roof maintenance, repair and re-roofing services, including guttering, downspouts and conductor heads. Wagner’s employees are skilled in the application of shingles, shakes, slate, tile, and copper, as well as built-up, modified bitumen and single ply roofing systems.
