Specializing in marinated and slow-roasted chicken, the quick-casual restaurants offer complete dinners with a whole or half bird and a choice of side dishes. The chain's menu also features chicken wings, sandwiches, and chicken pot pie. In addition, many Chicken Out locations offer catering services. Bruce Birnbach and David Deal started the Chicken Out business in 1991 as a carry-out operation. Today it is controlled by CEO Rick Hindin.
