In 1989 Joseph "Joe" Bisogno first founded Mr. Goodcents Subs and Pastas as an Italian-American restaurant based in Lenexa, Kansas. Goodcents soon became known for slicing meats and cheeses to order, baking pillowy soft bread twice daily, and serving quality ingredients. In time, Joe set out to "make the little guy famous" by offering his affordable, and profitable, franchise opportunity to others. Joe emphasized the importance of community involvement and food quality with every franchisee. Today, we still live by Joe's principles of strengthening our communities and offering high quality food options, because we believe making good food makes Goodcents.
