The investment group targets companies in the manufacturing, distribution industries, and business services industries, generally worth between $25 million and $250 million. Typical transactions are in the range of $15 million to $300 million and mainly focus on recapitalizations and buyouts. Besides providing money, the firm also offers recruitment, partnership, and strategic advice. The company sold portfolio firm NOVAPAK, the parent of plastic packaging maker PVC Container, to private equity firm Castle Harlan in 2010. Kirtland Capital has more than $320 million under management.
