Coating Place was founded by an ambitious scientist, Harlan Hall, with the idea to better the pharmaceutical industry with the use of Wurster fluid bed coating technology. This foundation later expanded with engineering, material science, and business development knowledge brought to us by some of our current employees. It is our mission to continue urging the next generation into these fields and further expand the capabilities of Coating Place, and the industry, through their capabilities.
Coating Place, Inc. is an established niche market pharmaceutical company specializing in Wurster fluid bed micro-encapsulation technology focused on drug delivery system development and outsource manufacturing. We have been a leader in the industry since our founding 40 years ago in 1976. Coating Place operates as a privately held contract manufacturing facility capable of innovative formulation development, technology transfer, process scale-up, and commercial manufacturing with comprehensive GMP quality standards, FDA registration, and DEA licensing.
