The company, which has been in operation since 1946, is the exclusive distributor of Steelcase office furniture in the St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri, areas. It also carries such brands as Hon and Nemschoff. In addition, the firm provides planning, interior construction, long-term facilities management, and furniture leasing services to its clients. Color Art purchased former rival Scott Rice Office Works in 2004 and changed its name from Color Art Office Interiors to Color Art Integrated Interiors.
